On this day a Savior is re-born!

Guess who’s back, back again, QTGG is back tell a friend!  #BOOM Hello World!  Yes, like the Return of the Mack, or Return of the Jedi we are back on attack.  Words of our demise were true but like a good QT lunch you can’t keep us down.  Wait that came out totally wrong – but you get what I am saying.

We went through some organizational changes here at the QT blog and it has taken us a little while to adjust.  Due to a downturn in our business model and failure to meet our established sales goals we were sadly forced to lay off 90% of our unpaid workforce.  That left just Steven and I to do the heavy lifting down on the loading docks.  Have you ever worked on a loading dock on a midnight shift?  Man Kenny Chesney was right – shift work, hard work.  If you are confused, don’t worry, so are we.

Now that we have our new structure in place Steve and I want to assure you, our tens of readers, that we are back.  Really, in all transparency, our goal is to build this blog up to having hundreds of readers and then sell out to a mega-corporation for millions.  If for some reason that doesn’t work, we will threaten to move our entire operation to Mexico, which will force President Trump to offer us a sweet heart deal.  For now though – on to the review…

After a meeting this morning I was in dire need of food.  I was in Gastonia and had a variety of options such as, Bojangles, Cracker Barrel and a host of Gastonia locals.  I have not gone to a QT is sometime, so I felt like today was the today.

The time was 11ish – just a tad early for lunch, but too late for straight breakfast.  I checked out the QT kitchen and what do I find?  A bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough.  Let me put this in a way that you can all understand…

So delicious (it’s hot, hot)
So delicious (I put them boys on rock, rock)
So delicious (they wanna slice of what its got)
Its QTlicous (t-t-t-t-t-tasty, tasty)

Yeah, it was T to the A to the S T Y to quote Fergie.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

The the bacon quotient was within acceptable parameters at a solid 3.75 baconers per sandwich surface space.  The kitchen did provide an option to add additional bacon, but the standard offering is fine.  The egg was quite good as well.  The sourdough bread was a nice choice and clearly is what differentiates QT from some run of the mill gas station that would serve such a sandwich on just plain white bread.  #ClassyGasStationFood.  I have but one suggestion for this dish – a little more cheese.  The cheese dispersion, as we have seen with other QT dishes, was somewhat lacking.  I would recommend opting for the added cheese for an additional few cents.

All in all I would recommend this dish without a second thought.  I give this 4.27 chomps.

We here at the QT blog would like to also say that we hope you have all had a wonderful July 4th, Labor Day, Halloween, Veterans Day, Canadian Thanksgiving and the real Thanksgiving (sorry Native Americans, that was kinda wrong how we did ya but can we just smile over some turkey and call it even?).  We would also like to remind you that with the holiday season upon us – give the gift of the QT blog.  It’s great entertainment, informative and comes cheap.  If you feel bad about it being cheap, then feel free to send us some duckets if that makes you feel better, it would make us feel better too.  It makes the perfect Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanuka and Ramadan gift.  It is actually the ideal gift for Festivus – right after the airing of grievances and before the feats of strength.

Joy to the World – the QT reigns and we shall all enjoy!
